Mental Health

We believe that mental health is as important as physical health. As part of our comprehensive treatment planning, families of children enrolled in Early Intervention and Autism Services at Kids Who Count may receive mental health services. Provided by professionals with expertise in raising children with special needs, our goal is to enhance well-being and create meaningful changes in the lives of families and caregivers. Services include individual counseling, weekly parent support group, and family therapy.

When your child has special needs, you have special needs and it’s vital to stay grounded and balanced, especially when your family is relying on your help. We invite parents to take an hour for themselves to check in with other parents who are managing the joys and challenges of special needs parenting. Talk to your child’s provider if you are interested in joining this helpful group,
