Autism Services

Autism Services

As of August 1st, 2022, Kids Who Count will no longer be providing autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. To ensure ongoing access and continuity of care, we are partnering with a trusted local provider who shares our vision that services should be comprehensive and fully individualized for each child and family.

Whole Child Therapy is located in a large facility in Spanish Fork, Utah. They have been providing Behavioral Therapy (ABA) since 2018. In addition to ABA, they offer Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, and comprehensive Mental Health support to children and families. Many of our trusted Kids Who Count autism staff will be making the move to Whole Child Therapy to continue services to children and families.

Kids Who Count will, of course, continue to provide early intervention services to children under the age of three!

What is ABA therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis or ABA therapy is based on the science of learning and behavior which is widely recognized as the most effective, evidence-based treatment for autism.

ABA methods have been used and studied for decades to support children diagnosed with autism and related developmental delays to increase independence, skill acquisition, as well as decrease challenging behaviors that are socially significant. Socially significant means that these behaviors impact the ability for an individual to navigate their environment independently and prevent access to education, social experiences, and community environments.

ABA is endorsed by the U.S. Surgeon General and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
